How to attend local OTO events

Sirius Encampment holds meetings at least every two weeks. We do a biweekly discussion of the Book of the Law, where we read verses and various commentaries that have been written about them, and try to discover what we think they might mean and how they might apply to us. Those happen every other Wednesday night.

We also have a monthly open meeting on the first Friday of every month. Those are normally held at the Ancient Ways store in Oakland. (You should, however, check the news schedule posted on our front page to be sure of date and place.) Each meeting has a different theme; check our announcements for the upcoming month's topic.

There are also a wide variety of classes and events held by our sister organization, Blazing Star Oasis. Every Sunday afternoon they celebrate the Gnostic Mass, and every Tuesday evening they hold a public class, workshop, and/or discussion group.

Getting to know the OTO: come hang out with us! Blazing Star's celebration of the Gnostic Mass and their classes all happen at the Bay Area Thelemic Temple, 130 East 12th Street, in Oakland. Sirius, as noted above, holds open meetings on the first Friday of every month. Show up at one or more of those, meet people, let us get to know you. Simple, right? Right.
